International Tourism
Exchange ITB Berlin (8–12 March 2006) is an internationally
renowned trade show for the global tourism industry. Over 30
percent of trade visitors and more than 75 percent of exhibitors
attended the show from abroad, highlighting the leading position
of ITB Berlin as an industry platform. A total of 58 Indian
tourism companies exhibited at ITB Berlin 2005. A central communication
and marketing platform, ITB Berlin is the world’s largest
services trade show for the tourism industry. Moreover, the
ITB Market Trends & Innovations Congress offers valuable
insights on new trends and innovative business models. Staged
in conjunction with the ITB Convention, the premiere of the
Experts’Forum on India was one of the successful highlights
of ITB Berlin 2005.
